Program details

Departure from Bangkok in the early morning to reach Damnern Saduak in Ratchaburi province, where the one of the most vibrant and colorful floating markets of Asia is held daily. We stop along the way at the Mae Klong market, also known as the railway market: a train passes through it at a certain time of the day, forcing vendors to move their goods quickly. Arrival at the floating market. Here we see hundreds of traditional boats loaded with fruits, vegetables and other products. The commerce is done from a boat to another, creating a floating market. Afterwards we head towards Kanchanaburi, the city of the bridge on the River Kwai, built by Allied prisoners of war and made famous by the omonymous movie. Lunch in a typical restaurant. We continue to visit Prasat Mueang Sing, the remains of an ancient city belonging to the Khmer empire. We reach the railways station at Tham Krasae to ride a portion of the infamous Death Railway, riding on spectacular wooden viaducts perched on the mountain. Return to Bangkok and transfer to the hotel.
