Become a Thai food master chef with this intense one-day cookery course. Not only will you learn to surprise friends and family with a proper homemade Thai gourmet, at the end of the course you’ll even eat the food you prepared with your own hands.
To begin, a cool vehicle will pull up in front of your hotel to pick you up and whizz you off to the Ka-Set market, in the traditional town of Phuket. Your day’s first activity is a brief tour round the bustling local market, where you will be able to buy all sorts of curious local groceries. Enjoy the electric market atmosphere where vendors yell prices and customers haggle for a better price.
After that, arrive at Phucket’s Thai Cookery School in Sirey Bay, where a smiling staff awaits to warmly welcome you before introducing you to the art of Thai cooking. The reception is accompanied by refreshing cups of coffee, water or tea. Once everybody is acquainted and refreshed, let the experts do their stuff and enjoy a cooking demonstration.
After that, get on your marks: ready, steady… cook! With your newly acquired culinary skills, attack the ingredients, apply the chefs’ tips and prepare a Thai dish as delicious as any you could find in a local restaurant. After the class, gobble up your latest creation before receiving a Thai cooking certificate from the team. As you’re driven back to the hotel, you have time along the way to digest the knowledge – not to mention the filling food you prepared.
