Program details

The visitors will ride on the back of an elephant through local farmland and bush for about 45-50 minutes (2 persons will share the basket strapped to the back of one elephant). After making a brief stop at the Silk House, visitors will return to the Elephant Village by Land Rover. At the village, visitors will be served with complimentary fruits in season.
Get up-close-and-personal with Asian elephants at an elephant village in Pattaya, and ride on their backs through fruit and rubber plantations.
Thailand’s working pride and joy, and one of this country’s national symbols, elephants were once used for logging, and while that’s now banned in the Kingdom, they remain a very important mode of jungle transport, beating any other animal or machine for their ability to move through a forest with minimum damage. Current estimates put the number of wild elephants in Thailand at between 3,000-4,000 animals.
To learn more about these mighty mammals and experience their skills first-hand, you can climb on their backs and ride through undeveloped rural areas, passing pineapples, tapioca trees, and rubber plantations. See rice fields and silk houses from your privileged position, before returning to the elephant village for snacks of seasonal fruit, coffee and tea.
