Explore the Wachau from the luxury and comfort of an eight-seater Mercedes minivan and visit some of the valley’s many wineries. See the steep vineyards that cover the banks of the Danube in this area renowned for its dry whites made from riesling and gruner veltliner grapes. Enjoy some free time to wander around Durnstein, a pretty medieval town dominated by the ruins of a castle where English king Richard the Lionheart (of Robin Hood fame) was held prisoner.
