Explore the vibrant streets and famous sights of Istanbul, all from the comfort and luxury of a vintage 1950s American car that has been transformed into a typical Turkish Dolmus. Visit mosques, ancient Roman walls and ultra-modern suspension bridges. Discover Ottoman palaces, Armenian churches and lively Roma districts. This innovative driving tour will take you through two continents and via all the highlights of this fascinating city.


First stop is Sirkeci, located to the north of the mouth of the Golden Horn, near the Topkapi Palace complex. Stop to admire the romantic promontory of Sarayburnu where the renowned Topkapi Palace and lush Gulhane Park stand. From here you will continue to through the old Armenian quarter of Kumkapi, heading past the intricate Bayezid II Mosque, the ruins of the Forum of Theodosius and the famous Grand Bazaar-


Nearby you can admire the magnificent Suleymaniye Mosque, the largest mosque in the city, and one Istanbul’s best-loved landmarks before continuing past the magnificent Yedikule Fortress and the historic Roma settlement of Sulukule.


From here your vehicle will cross the Golden Horn by the impressive Ataturk Bridge, entering Istanbul’s modern neighbourhood. Keep a look out for the beautiful Neo-Baroque Ortakoy Mosque on the waterfront. Nearby is the charming old quarter of Arnavutkoy, famous for its wooden Ottoman mansions and fish restaurants. Stop here for a refreshing cup of Turkish tea or coffee and a delicious snack, before crossing into Asia via the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, one of the longest suspension bridges in the world and an impressive feat of engineering. Pass the sumptuous Beylerbeyi Palace before crossing back into Europe again via the Bosphorus Suspension Bridge.
