Program details

Join us on this memorable trip to discover some of Tuscany’s most beautiful sights with a delicious traditional Tuscan lunch included. Our first visit is to the town of Pisa and the lush green Piazza dei Miracoli where we find four gleaming white buildings: the Cathedral, the Baptistry, the Camposanto and the iconic Leaning Tower – the Campanile (bell tower). Moving on, our next stop is the town of Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo Da Vinci, the world renowned architect and inventor. Here we visit the Leonardo Museum and admire one of the largest collections of models and machines created by this brilliant scientist, engineer, and architect.

A welcome lunch awaits us at a traditional Tuscan restaurant that includes a pleasant tasting of local wines. After lunch our journey of delights continues with a visit to the mediaeval walled town of San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The most striking thing you will notice here are the many tall towers that rise above the town and offer fabulous views of the surrounding area.

Finally our day comes to an end in the stunning town of Siena. A guide will lead you through the highlights of the city such as such the splendid Siena Cathedral on the Piazza del Duomo and the Piazza del Campo where the traditional Palio de Siena horse race is held every summer. In Siena you also have free time to wander around before we head back to Florence.
