During this tour you will learn abot monuments of differenct colonial times and modern buildings within the central business district. You will see the ''Reiterdenkmal'', an equestrian Statue Monument erected by the German colonial authority to commemorate the German soldiers who lost their lives during the wars of 1903-1907 and 1908. The ''Tintenpalast'' palace of ink; the neo-Romanic Christus Church ; a narrow-gauge locomotive at the main railway station; the old power magazine, oldest existing building in Windhoek; the Schwerin's, Heinitz, Sparrow's Joy and Sanderburg castles; the Namdeb diamond nuilding and the Supreme Court. The remainder of the tour will be spent in the vibrabt suburb of Katatura- which means ''The place where we do not want to live'', driving through different areas and locations and gaining an inside view in modern city dwellings. The inside view will climax to an exciting off road drive on top of an old Heliographic signal hill with ruins of old horse stables at the Goreangab Dam.
