Half day visit ‘Giving Alms ceremony & National Museum’: who is interested to watch the Giving Alms ceremony should wake up before 6:00 AM. Every morning ‘since always’ 250 monks, together with their leader Khamjan, are walking around the city in order to receive the alms from the worshippers – return to the hotel for breakfast – visit of the National Museum: built in 1904 to be the Royal Palace, nowadays shows a rich collection of items of all sorts used to belong to the Royal Family, especially the gold statue "Phra Bang", 83 centimeters high which, according to the tradition, is the symbol of Lane Xang reign since XIII century.
