Ever since its construction in 1954, the Camp Nou has been continuously improved and refurbished. Over the years, the Club has remodelled several areas of the ground and its surroundings, building new facilities and equipping the stadium with state of the art technology.
The Camp Nou currently has a capacity for 98,787 spectators, standing 48 meters high and covering an area of 55,000m² (250 meters long and 220 meters wide). The average time to empty the stadium is a mere five minutes. During the 1998-99 season UEFA awarded this magnificent stadium with five stars for its services and facilities. If the final date of the match is different than that shown on the ticket, there is no need to change it. The ticket remains valid and can be used directly at the stadium entrance.
