The Royal Grand Palace.

The Royal Grand Palace can only be described as an oriental masterpiece. Inside the Royal Chapel there is the Emerald Buddha, which has been carved from a solid piece of jade. The palace is a true architectural masterpiece, consisting of several buildings from the outside and a magical inside, which was used as a royal residence from the 18th century to the mid-20th century. It is without any doubt a national reference and possibly the most visited royal monument of Thailand, which shouldn’t be missed.

To round off the tour, we call in at a local lapidary factory and showroom where you will be able to get locally made jewelry, handicrafts and silk at competitive prices. Transfer back to the hotel. Note: Parts of the Royal Grand Palace and/or Wat Phra Kaew can be closed during special royal or Buddhist ceremonies and during visits of foreign heads of state.

Siam Niramit.

In the evening enjoy Siam Niramit is a world-class performance of Thailand’s art and cultural heritage set in the heart of Bangkok, with convenient access by MRT subway, this must-see spectacular is performed on the biggest stage now listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The show features over 100 performers with as many as 500 costumes and has enhanced special effects, where the world's most advanced technology is used to produce a stimulating, very realistic and inspiring experience. This is a journey to the enchanted Kingdom of Thailand that no one can miss.

Start/opening time: Royal Grand Palace at 7:15am. Siam Niramit Show at 5:30pm.

End/closing time: Royal Grand Palace at 11:15am. Siam Niramit Show at 10:30pm.

Others: Dress for the weather, bring a long a coat and umbrella if it looks like rain, wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water. If you are visiting the Grand Palace or any religious Temple you must observe the strict dress code policy. Only trousers or long knee-length skirts are permitted and shoes that completely enclose the foot. We recommend that you wear comfy shoes that you can slip on and off easily. Dress top for women should not show the shoulder.
