With its grandeur and ruins, tour the large courtyard and terrace and admire one of the largest wine barrels in the world, the 'Heidelberg Tun'. Tour through the town centre and marvel at the arcs of the Old Bridge reflecting in the waters below, and gaze at the splendour of the Karlstor and the Church of the Holy Spirit, as well as the breathtaking Renaissance facade of the House of the Knights. Admire the city's small lanes lined with half-timbered houses.

Once a mighty centre of European trade, here you can see the robust Imperial Castle - residence of the Emperors of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation.
