Program details

This awe-inspiring tour starts with rail travel to Belfast on the ‘Enterprise Express’. After a scenic 2-hour train journey arrive into Belfast Central Station where you will transfer to a coach to continue on the journey along the Causeway Coastal Route, along Northern Ireland’s Antrim Coast. Upon arrival, you can see one of Belfast’s most well-known landmark, the two Harland & Wolff Cranes nicknamed Samson and Goliath.

After leaving Belfast, travel towards the town of Carrickfergus for a short photo-stop and take the coast road north from here. Further north, arrive at the quaint fishing village of Carnlough, where you enjoy a brief photo stop. Continue as you pass the coastal villages of Glenariff, Cushendall and Cushendun. There are stunning views of the sea to the right and the mountains or the Glens of Antrim to the left; you can even glimpse the Scottish coast on a clear day.

The next stop is at the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Traditionally fishermen erected the bridge to Carrick-a-Rede Island over a 23m-deep and 20m-wide chasm to check their salmon nets. But today visitors are drawn here simply to take the rope bridge challenge! Do You dare?

Next, head towards Dunluce Castle for a photo stop before arriving at the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy free time to discover the amazing stones. Stroll along the basalt columns and let your mind wander to a world full of myths and legends.

Leaving the Giant’s Causeway, appreciate the beauty of Ireland´s landscapes as you make your way back to Belfast before boarding the train to Dublin.
