Join multi-award-winning EcoZip Adventures for a unique zipline and native forest experience, perfect for adventure and nature lovers of all ages and abilities.
Whether your clients are coming from Auckland or are already on Waiheke, they can join us for a fascinating, 20-minute, Waiheke highlights mini-tour.
En route to EcoZip, in our private, air-conditioned mini coach, we introduce the sights and sounds of the place the Lonely Planet describes as ’93 km2 of island bliss’ - including many of the island’s pretty beaches, olive groves, vineyards, and multi-million dollar properties.
After gearing up, your clients will gain a completely unique perspective of Waiheke.
On the island as they fly first above a working vineyard before zipping over a beautiful swathe of centuries-old native New Zealand forest. Each over 200m long, our zip lines feature state-of-the-art technology, including the NZ-designed ZipStop automatic brake. In the company of two expert EcoZip guides, your clients will experience ziplines that get progressively higher and faster – proving that this really is adventure tourism for everyone!
Once your clients reach the end of our last zipline the adventure is far from over – in fact it’s just beginning. Descending from the landing deck, they’ll embark on a magical guided nature walk – exchanging their birds-eye forest view for the cool, sun-dappled, rainforest floor. Our native forest is home to a diverse range of fauna and flora and the forest’s ancient, stately, trees are a treasure trove of stories and legend.
Our expert guides will share the Māori legend of the mother and father of the forest, and tell your clients about its other once-threatened, now thriving, species.
Top Tip: Our dual zipline cables allow your clients to ‘fly’ side-by-side with a friend; transforming a usually solo experience into an incredible social, shared experience.
