Program details

Leave Bordeaux at 1.45pm and drive along the 'chateau route' of the Medoc region, passing by legendary names such as Margaux, Saint-Julien, Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe, while your friendly, English speaking guide explains all you have ever wanted to know about Bordeaux wines.

The first of the two chateaux you will visit is a Great Classified Growth estate, steeped in history and a true symbol of French “savoir vivre”. Here you will be able to visit the vat room and cellars and learn about the wine making process, all the way from the vine to the bottle, before tasting the estate’s wines and enjoying an aperitif made with delicacies from the local market (such as fresh bread, cheese, cured sausages, almonds, apricots…).

Following a short drive, you will arrive in a charming and authentic family-run estate. Feel the intimacy and authenticity of a private chateau run by a passionate family for generations. Tour the chateau and the cellars, and participate in a tasting class to “taste like a pro in 25 minutes”.

The tour includes: transportation; a friendly and professional English speaking guide; visits to two chateaux in the Medoc area with wine tasting; wine tasting class; a typical aperitif.
