Program details

Departing Glasgow, our Ultimate Whisky tour journeys north west to our first stop of the day, Tullibardine Distillery*. A family owned distillery, Tullibardine has been brewing and distilling since the 15th Century. Spend time here to explore the distillery, learn of its royal history and enjoy a chocolate and whisky tour (not included) for 4 single malt tastings, including their 25 year old.

From the distillery, we travel to Dunblane for our next stop of the day. Dunblane is a small town situated a few miles north of Stirling, where Scottish Tennis star Andy Murray is from. Spend some free time here exploring the small village, learn more about the town at Dunblane Museum, visit its 13th century Cathedral, situated serenely amid beautiful old buildings and enjoy some lunch.

After our lunch break, our whisky tour continues to our second distillery of the day; Deanston Distillery*. Located on the River Teith, Deanston Distillery was a cotton mill for over 180 years and has been distilling whisky using traditional methods since the 1960s. We stop here to enjoy a whisky tasting (not included) and enjoy some refreshments in the cafe.

From Deanston, we travel to our final stop of the day. Depending on the weather, we will stop for a short break at either Doune Castle or Balmaha for Loch Lomond, before returning to Glasgow, where our Ultimate Whisky Tour ends.
