Hanover, Germany |
At SEA LIFE Hanover, visitors experience the impressive biodiversity of the underwater world on a journey from the Leine River to the tropical seas. In over 40 tanks and aquariums more than 2,500 animals from different areas of the world can be discovered.
Visitors of all ages can dive into the breathtaking depths of the ocean and find themselves face to face with impressive sharks and other dazzling sea creatures such as our green sea turtle Oscar. From the Leine River that flows through Hanover, to the mangrove area, the ray lagoon, the coral reef and the ocean tunnel cute seahorses, majestic rays, mysterious jelly fish and terrifying piranhas can be found.
In Addition, visitors to SEA LIFE Hannover can also experience a thrilling expedition into the adventurous world of the rainforest. A genuine jungle ranger takes young and old into the fascinating flora and fauna of the tropics and reports a lot of interesting facts about the rainforest and its inhabitants. Here visitors can experience, for example, the impressive Cuban crocodile, which lurks in the water with its razor-sharp teeth, and many other tropical animals such as dazzling chameleons and fascinating insects. The insect crawling station is teeming with small animals. Courageous visitors at the Ranger Camp can have a real insect put on their hands and experience, for example, what a millipede feels like on their skin. Amongst the tropical plants the giant ‘Sancho’ can be discovered, a black and white Teju that was rescued in 2017.
