Board your 4WD vehicle and drive Southwards, as we cross the Hajar Mountains. The scenery all along the way is not only beautiful but also spectacular. On our way we will be stopping at various places to take photographs. Our first actual stop will be at Wadi Bani Khalid a beautiful oasis in the middle of the barren and dry mountains. Refresh yourself in the turquoise blue pools of fresh water, which at some places are 20ft deep and perfect for a dip. From Wadi Bani Khalid our drive will take us to Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand dunes rising up to 200 metres, also host to a variety of flora and fauna. Enjoy a roller coaster sand dune ride in your Land cruisers, as we go deeper into the sands of Wahiba. The whole area is breath taking and you may even spot bedouin and camels on the move.
