The first half of the day is dedicated to visiting some of the most classic locations in the 'Cultural' Capital of Vietnam. Passing in front of the impressive mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, you enter a park that was once the residence of the Governor General of Indochina, as well as the house in which housed the President. Not far from here lays the delightful, ""One Pillar Pagoda."" Built in 1049. In front of it are the Dien Huu Pagoda, the Van Mieu and the Confucian Temple of Literature, which is one of the oldest universities in Asia and dates back to 1070. At the heart of the city lies the Lake of the returned sword with the islet of Jade Mountain Temple (Quan Thanh Temple).
The day ends with about an hour of the Water Puppet show: The only show of this kind in the whole world, where the actors are wooden puppets and ancient stories are retold and adapted to modern everyday life situations, based off popular traditional legends. The whole show with the wooden puppets on water made stage is something not to miss.

Transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay.
After a stop at a local show centre famous for its production of silk, ceramics and stone sculptures. You can continue to visit Halong Bay, considered by many as the ""eighth wonder of the world' on a traditional handmade wooden boat which has been carefully restored. The boat will cruise between the myriad of Islands, Islets, rocks and reefs. The cruise on the boat is marvelous. Imagine sailing in a turquoise sea sprinkled with thousands of jagged limestone islands. Visit natural caves with stalagmites and stalactites that creates an extraordinary and beautiful scenery.

The morning is dedicated to visiting the endless attractions of Halong Bay.

Arrive and transfer to hotel.
Dinner at Hotel.
Day 04: SAIGON (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Half-day visit to Cu Chi tunnels. We leave Saigon and head to visit the Cu Chi tunnels, the famous underground city of the Vietcong. Who managed to create an incredible underground network of warehouses, dorms, armories, kitchens, infirmaries and command posts linked together by 250 kilometers of tunnels and galleries of those who resisted. The tunnels stayed untouched for the next years from bombs and attacks by the American troops. The tunnels were first built during the French occupation but during the war with the USA they were developed. Some facilities were made available to the public and mannequins are mounted with weapons at strategic guard points. While visiting this site, we will watch a documentary movie shot by the Vietcong. In the afternoon, we return back to the city center for the second half of the day.

During the visit in the heart of Saigon, we will visit the War Remnants Museum and the square where the colonial era is revived. Especially in the post office building as we as the neo-Gothic Cathedral of Notre Dame. Designed by Gustave Eiffel. You will also visit the highest sacred Taoist place of worship the Chua Ngoc Hoang and the Jade Emperor Pagoda whose interior furnishings, decorations, and statuary are symbols of authority of divinity. It's veiled by clouds of smoke rising due to the burning incense, which creates a special atmosphere. Afterwards continue enjoying shopping in the bustling commercial area of Dong Khoi, ""The Rue Catinat"" of French settlers, at the Ben Thanh Market.

Full-day visit of the Mekong Delta. “Cai Be”. We leave Saigon and after an hour drive, we will have a short stop to load carry on at the pier. Where we board small boats and sail through this intriguing place. The local boats enter from different branches of the river and passes between banks that are crowded with life. This leads to the Cai Be Floating Market. This carries all types of fruits, vegetables and handicrafts from around the Delta. Then tour a lovely family business which uses ancient techniques to manually produce puffed rice, palm sugar sweets, candies and rice cakes.

In the afternoon, we will travel to Can Tho.

Day 06: CANTHO – PHU QUOC by Boat (Breakfast)
In the morning, we will visit the commercial and agricultural heart of Can Tho, considered the "Capital of the Delta". A fertile agriculture region, which lives healthy by the healing waters of the great river. We will travel by speedboat, in order to visit the two great floating markets of Cai Rang and Phong Dien.
Then transfer by car to Rach Gia.
When in Rach Gia, embark on an elegant Jet Foil to PHU QUOC.

The day ends with an hour of fun at the Water Puppet Show: a show unique in the world, where the actors are puppets that revive ancient folk legends and scenes of everyday life on a stage made of water.

After a brief stop in an exhibition center displaying the best of local silk, ceramic and stone sculptures we proceed to the port, ready to embark on one of the most beautiful cruises in Asia.
The visit of the spectacular Halong Bay takes place on a beautifully restored traditional Chinese junk, which will take you through a myriad of islands, islets and pinnacles emerging from the sea in weird shapes. Covered with pristine jungle and often punctured by caves and cracks, the karst formation of Halong have been for centuries in legends of pirates and demons.

Day 03: HALONG BAY - HANOI - SAIGON (Breakfast, Brunch)
The cruise continues throughout the morning, allowing plenty of time to relax while sailing surrounded by a spectacular natural scenery.

Departure to reach the famous Cu Chi tunnels, the Vietcong's underground network of warehouses, dormitories, armories, kitchens, infirmaries and command posts resistant to US bombardments and symbol of Vietnamese resistance. In the nearby bushes some structures are made accessible to the public and evocative mannequins mount the guard at strategic points.
On the way back to Saigon we stop to taste the famous rice flour focaccia and explore a rubber tree plantation dating back to the years of French colonization at the beginning of the last century.

In the afternoon we visit the heart of Saigon, starting from the War Remnants Museum, sad reminder of all wars in which Vietnam has been involved. After a brief stop at the central square to admire the Post Office building, designed by Gustave Eiffel, and the neo-Gothic cathedral of Notre-Dame, we visit Ngoc Hoang, the Jade Emperor's pagoda, dedicated to the Taoist cult. The interiors are surprisingly rich and fascinating.

Full-day visit of the Mekong Delta. We arrive at Cai Be river port to board a smaller local boat more suitable too navigate the narrow canals. Passing through crowded shores, full of life and commerces, we reach the local fresh market, where a myriad of people on boats convey fruits, vegetables and handicrafts from various areas of the delta.
We visit a family-run business specialized in the traditional production of rice cakes, palm sugar candies and a variety of local desserts.

During the transfer to Chau Doc we travel through the most characteristic landscapes of the Mekong delta, a river ecosystem unique in the world and very photogenic.

Day 6: CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH (Breakfast)
Transfer from the hotel to the pier. Departure with a fast boat through a maze of channels connecting the Bassac river to the Mekong all the way the border post between Vietnam and Cambodia.

The tunnels stayed untouched for the next years from bombs and attacks by the American troops. The tunnels were first built during the French occupation but during the war with the USA they were developed. Some facilities were made available to the public and mannequins are mounted with weapons at strategic guard points. While visiting this site, we will watch a documentary movie shot by the Vietcong. In the afternoon, we return back to the city center for the second half of the day.

The first half of the day is dedicated to visiting some of the most classic locations in the 'Cultural' Capital of Vietnam. Passing in front of the impressive mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, you enter a park that was once the residence of the Governor General of Indochina, as well as the house in which housed the President. Not far from here lays the delightful, ""One Pillar Pagoda."" Built in 1049. In front of it are the Dien Huu Pagoda, the Van Mieu and the Confucian Temple of Literature, which is one of the oldest universities in Asia and dates back to 1070. At the heart of the city lies the Lake of the returned sword with the islet of Jade Mountain Temple (Quan Thanh Temple).
The day ends with about an hour of the Water Puppet show: The only show of this kind in the whole world, where the actors are wooden puppets and ancient stories are retold and adapted to modern everyday life situations, based off popular traditional legends. The whole show with the wooden puppets on water made stage is something not to miss.

Transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay.
After a stop at a local show centre famous for its production of silk, ceramics and stone sculptures. You can continue to visit Halong Bay, considered by many as the ""eighth wonder of the world' on a traditional handmade wooden boat which has been carefully restored. The boat will cruise between the myriad of Islands, Islets, rocks and reefs. The cruise on the boat is marvelous. Imagine sailing in a turquoise sea sprinkled with thousands of jagged limestone islands. Visit natural caves with stalagmites and stalactites that creates an extraordinary and beautiful scenery.

The morning is dedicated to visiting the endless attractions of Halong Bay.

Day 04: SAIGON (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Half-day visit to Cu Chi tunnels. We leave Saigon and head to visit the Cu Chi tunnels, the famous underground city of the Vietcong. Who managed to create an incredible underground network of warehouses, dorms, armories, kitchens, infirmaries and command posts linked together by 250 kilometers of tunnels and galleries of those who resisted. The tunnels stayed untouched for the next years from bombs and attacks by the American troops. The tunnels were first built during the French occupation but during the war with the USA they were developed. Some facilities were made available to the public and mannequins are mounted with weapons at strategic guard points. While visiting this site, we will watch a documentary movie shot by the Vietcong. In the afternoon, we return back to the city center for the second half of the day.

During the visit in the heart of Saigon, we will visit the War Remnants Museum and the square where the colonial era is revived. Especially in the post office building as we as the neo-Gothic Cathedral of Notre Dame. Designed by Gustave Eiffel. You will also visit the highest sacred Taoist place of worship the Chua Ngoc Hoang and the Jade Emperor Pagoda whose interior furnishings, decorations, and statuary are symbols of authority of divinity. It's veiled by clouds of smoke rising due to the burning incense, which creates a special atmosphere. Afterwards continue enjoying shopping in the bustling commercial area of Dong Khoi, ""The Rue Catinat"" of French settlers, at the Ben Thanh Market.

Day 05: SAIGON - CANTHO (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Full-day visit of the Mekong Delta. “Cai Be”. We leave Saigon and after an hour drive, we will have a short stop to load carry on at the pier. Where we board small boats and sail through this intriguing place. The local boats enter from different branches of the river and passes between banks that are crowded with life. This leads to the Cai Be Floating Market. This carries all types of fruits, vegetables and handicrafts from around the Delta. Then tour a lovely family business which uses ancient techniques to manually produce puffed rice, palm sugar sweets, candies and rice cakes.

In the afternoon, we will travel to Can Tho.

Day 06: CANTHO - SAIGON … (Breakfast)
In the morning, we will visit the commercial and agricultural heart of Can Tho, considered the “Capital of the Delta"". A fertile agriculture region, which lives healthy by the healing waters of the great river. We will travel by speedboat, in order to visit the two great floating markets of Cai Rang and Phong Dien.
Travel back to Saigon. Arrive in the afternoon…. .

After a brief stop in an exhibition center displaying the best of local silk, ceramic and stone sculptures we proceed to the port, ready to embark on one of the most beautiful cruises in Asia.
The visit of the spectacular Halong Bay takes place on a beautifully restored traditional Chinese junk, which will take you through a myriad of islands, islets and pinnacles emerging from the sea in weird shapes. Covered with pristine jungle and often punctured by caves and cracks, the karst formation of Halong have been for centuries in legends of pirates and demons.

Day 03: HALONG BAY - HANOI - SAIGON (Breakfast, Brunch)
The cruise continues throughout the morning, allowing plenty of time to relax while sailing surrounded by a spectacular natural scenery.

Day 04: SAIGON (Breakfast, Lunch)
Departure to reach the famous Cu Chi tunnels, the Vietcong's underground network of warehouses, dormitories, armories, kitchens, infirmaries and command posts resistant to US bombardments and symbol of Vietnamese resistance. In the nearby bushes some structures are made accessible to the public and evocative mannequins mount the guard at strategic points.
On the way back to Saigon we stop to taste the famous rice flour focaccia and explore a rubber tree plantation dating back to the years of French colonization at the beginning of the last century.

In the afternoon we visit the heart of Saigon, starting from the War Remnants Museum, sad reminder of all wars in which Vietnam has been involved. After a brief stop at the central square to admire the Post Office building, designed by Gustave Eiffel, and the neo-Gothic cathedral of Notre-Dame, we visit Ngoc Hoang, the Jade Emperor's pagoda, dedicated to the Taoist cult. The interiors are surprisingly rich and fascinating.

Day 05: SAIGON - CHAU DOC (Breakfast, Lunch)
Full-day visit of the Mekong Delta. We arrive at Cai Be river port to board a smaller local boat more suitable too navigate the narrow canals. Passing through crowded shores, full of life and commerces, we reach the local fresh market, where a myriad of people on boats convey fruits, vegetables and handicrafts from various areas of the delta.
We visit a family-run business specialized in the traditional production of rice cakes, palm sugar candies and a variety of local desserts.

During the transfer to Chau Doc we travel through the most characteristic landscapes of the Mekong delta, a river ecosystem unique in the world and very photogenic.

Day 6: CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH (Breakfast)
Transfer from the hotel to the pier. Departure with a fast boat through a maze of channels connecting the Bassac river to the Mekong all the way the border post between Vietnam and Cambodia.
After crossing the border the journey continues through a unique landscape of great natural beauty, where traditional villages alternate with orchards, forests and swamps.
