Departing from your Bangkok hotel we will travel to peaceful Nakhon in the Nayok province. Find yourself surrounded by cool waterfalls, lush green fields, village heritage and abundant tropical fruits. You will feel a world away from the fast-paced city you awoke in! Visit a local market to find farmers selling colourful, fresh produce.

Traverse a pretty green rice-field the traditional way with an ox-cart ride, the main means of transport in the old days. Visit a fruit plantation to sample delectable Thai treats such as Mangosteen, Durian, Rambutan and other local delicacies, complemented with reviving coffee. While at the plantation, you're in for a real treat as you experience a real Thai cooking course! Learn traditional techniques for making such worldwide favourites as Pad Thai, Tom Yum and much more. Find out the right way to use important Thai ingredients including basil, rice noodles, coconut milk and lemongrass to name a few. Enjoy the satisfaction of tasting delicious Thai cuisine, made by you!

From here we will head off to uncover the King of Thailand's Royal Project for sustainable farming, and how it has continued to improve the lives of Thai people. Continue to take in the Khun Dan Dam Hydraulic Turret, a feat of engineering that is the longest cement dam in the world. Get your heart rate up with an easy jungle trek to reach Nangrong waterfall to cool off with a refreshing swim. Enjoy your newfound feeling of connection to the green side of Bangkok!
