Il programma nel dettaglio

Leave the hustle and the bustle of the big city behind you and head off to explore the former capital of the Ottoman Capital, the magnificent city of Bursa. Along the way you will cross many splendid landmarks that embellish the unparalleled magical feel of the Turkish landscape.

Your adventure begins by hopping aboard a ferry boat that will take you away from the hectic cosmopolitan life of Istanbul. Glide across the crystalline waters of the Marmara towards Yalova, a quaint city just south from Istanbul. From there, you will continue towards Bursa, the capital of the Ottoman Empire that has historically fallen from grace. Along the way, admire the awe-inspiring beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

Once in Bursa, the time has come for discovering the many great landmarks and constructions that fill this city. First, see a couple of wonderful mosques, namely the breath-taking sprawl of the Ulucami, or Grand Mosque; and the hulking shape of the Green Mosque. Then stroll over to the equally impressive Green Mausoleum.

Later on, delve into the manifold wonders of the Silk Market, inside the exotic Covered Bazaar, where you will be able to feel and appreciate the fine quality of the silks on sale.

After lunch at a typical kebab house, set off for one of two journeys: ascending to the top of Mount Olympos by cable car or visiting the famous Inkaya Plane Tree. After this day of thrills and emotions, you return to Istanbul with a larger experience baggage on your shoulders.
