Get away for a day to one of the best known beaches in the gulf of Thailand: Pattaya beach. Around two hours by car from Bangkok, it’s not far to go at all. Pattaya practically has something for everyone: you can see the sites, take in the culture and taste the local cuisine.



Galavant around the floating Pattaya market which boasts over a hundred thousand square metres of stalls – its filled to the brim with fascinating bits and bobs to wow your friends with! Marvel at the multitude of marvellous handmade arts and crafts and munch on as many goodies as you can handle which have been gathered from all over the country. You can chow down on the traditional treats or pick-up some special souvenirs. If you dare to be different, feel free to go ahead and feed the goats, lambs and fish.



Later on, take pleasure in the impressive views of Pattaya from the top of Platumnak hill which is of the best viewing spots all around. It is certainly considered as a must for any tourist who fancies jetting back home with a postcard worthy photo of their trip away to Pattaya.



In the afternoon, you have some free time to go shopping if you’re up for it or you can catch some rays on the golden sands. Once you’ve had your fill of that, you’ll catch up with your guide again and set out on the journey back to Bangkok.
