The resort is on quiet, peaceful and beautiful Thian Og Bay, or 'Shark Bay' as it is known due to the harmless Black-Tip reef sharks that call it home and swim safely with snorkelers. The bay also has one of the best beaches on the island that is less than 100 meters away.
