Program details

Discover a different side to the city as you enjoy an evening tour of Bangkok. As the sun begins to set you will see the bustling city in a brand-new light. You’ll visit the Hindu shrine at Erewan, the fragrant flower market at Pak Khlong Talat and then go for a stroll around the vibrant night market at Patpong. A professional guide will accompany you throughout the tour, providing you with plenty of local insight into the different sights and attractions.

After an early evening pick-up from your hotel we’ll head straight for the Hindu shrine at Erewan. This holy place houses a statue of Phra Phrom, the Thai representation of the Hindu creation god Brahma. Don’t miss the performances by colourful Thai dance troupes, who are hired by the faithful in order to see their prayers answered. The temple dates from 1956 is a feast for the senses thanks to the many flowers and clouds of incense left by the worshippers.

From here we’ll head to the colourful flower market at Pak Khlong Talat. Stroll around the many stalls as you admire the mind-boggling variety of orchids and other exotic blooms on sale. This market is open 24 hours a day but is probably best experienced in the evening when the bustling daytime crowds have gone home.

Then it’s just a short walk down to the Patpong night market, situated near the Memorial Bridge along the river. This busy bazaar, probably the most-famous in Thailand, offers an excellent array of souvenirs, gifts, clothes, handbags and jewellery and is also a well-known entertainment hub and red-light district. You’ll have plenty of time for browsing through the many stalls and hole-in-the wall shops before returning to your hotel.
