Explore the capital city of Lisbon, Portugal from street-level with an easy-going bike tour. This two hour, low-difficulty level and moderate speed bike ride tour will allow you to get a real perspective as you take in the sights and sounds of the city.
After a brief safety lesson and introduction on the natural and cultural interpretation of the route, you'll set out on an excursion that will allow you to experience the harmony between the urban and monumental landscape of Lisbon. As you pedal through the city, you'll pass by places and structures that are both emblematic and of historical importance. Enjoy this unique opportunity to exercise and relax while marvelling the views of this great city on the sea. The route will travel along the banks of the Tagus River, allowing for lovely riverside landscapes, a cooling breeze, and an opportunity to see where the river empties into the depths of the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the waterfront Discoveries Monument, honouring the many explorers who took off from this city hundreds of years ago. Stop for photo opportunities throughout the city to have mementos of your ride. Take a short break to rehydrate and refuel by tasting the famous Belem custard tart, before continuing your journey through the city streets.
