Your first stop is the Madara Horseman, carved into a 100m-high cliff and representing the figure of a knight triumphing over a lion. Only 3 kilometers from this world-famous monument, nestled under the Madara cliffs, the village of Kyulevcha welcomes you in a country house built in accordance with the old traditions. Charming local ladies will sing, dance and perform genuine Bulgarian folklore rites, which you are invited to take part in.


Try your hand in preparing the traditional banitsa, then enjoy the tasty lunch and spent few unforgettable hours in this picturesque place. During a visit to the stable “Kabiuk” you will see pedigree horses and enjoy a round trip by horse wagons to explore the nearby pastures. Your children will be fascinated of the charming ponies.

Duration: Eleven hours.

Others: It runs on Thursday, subject to change. Please call 24h before the tour to confirm your pick-up point. The excursion is not suitable for people with limited mobility and wheel-chairs. Wine tasting included. Entrance fee for the Madara Horseman is not included. Presentation at Kabiuk: presentation of pedigree horses, opportunity to ride, walk around the stud farm, trip with a donkey cart.
