When you book the Food Tour Austin, you'll try wonderful foods created for our city. With dishes dating back to our Aztec days, we're steeped in history. We'll navigate you past the tourist traps and into the best restaurants to make your city visit truly memorable. Our guides will lead you through the busy streets of downtown Austin for a three hour urban gastronomy experience in the central and historic area of the city of music. You'll try our famous BBQ green chile chili, our unusual Secret Dish, tamales that have remained virtually unchanged since 5000 B.C., and more. We begin at the Fareground, a beautiful food court and outdoor gathering area. We'll then stroll around, stopping at our historic theatres, listening for the music as we traverse a part of our famous 6th Street.
